Description Woman's black cape with black neck ruffle. The cape is made of corded fabric. It has a black neck ruffle, two wide ribbon ties, and black lace under the ruffle. The black lace has spirals that are filled with bars and picots.
Provenance Belonged to Catherine Lyons (neƩ McNeeley) of the Harkaway district of Euphrasia Township, Grey County. In 1880, she and her husband, James Lyons farmed at Concession 12, Lot 11 of Euphrasia.
