Description This is an all-metal Snapon automotive tool. This two pronged tool has a silvertone finish or plating on it. There is a small, threaded knob on one end. The two pronged arms extend outward, bend down at an almost 90 degree angle, and then flatten out until they are nearly parallel with the rest of the tool. The main rectangular section is cast embossed with "SNAPON TOOLS INC S 9580 ? PAT APPLD FOR."

Provenance Belonged to J. Leonard Walsh, who owned an Imperial Oil garage in Dornoch, Grey County, starting in the 1920s. Passed to his nephew, Patrick Sweeney, who later worked with him in the garage. James Leonard Walsh died on June 5, 1986, in his 92nd year. He is buried at St. Paul's Cemetery in Grey County.
