Description Beige linen, one piece embroidered tea cozy. Embroidery is stylized floral and florals made out of hearts in light blue, red, gold and green with black outlining. There are three tulips on each side. Style of embroidery seems Polish or Eastern European.
Provenance This tea cozy was found amidst the estate items of Mrs. Gideon Carrie. Mrs. Carrie formerly resided in Sydenham Township, and she and her husband were listed in the 1871 census. Her daughter became a Mrs. McQuaker of Owen Sound, and her grand-daughter was Mrs. Frank W. Smith.
