Description 11 inch square-shaped turquoise velvet cushion with half of the top (bisected diagonally) covered in an ivory silk or satin wtih hand painted violets on it. Top is divided diagonally to form two pockets. These pockets may have been used to hold a folded-up nightgown on the bed.
Provenance Unknown. Last owned by Margaret Stewart (neƩ Lauder) whose family had connections to the Durham area of Grey County.
