Provenance This doily originally belonged to Mrs. Gideon Carrie. The Carries lived on the Sydenham and Holland Township townline area of Grey County in the 19th-century. Later belonged to Mrs. Frank W. Smith, was formerly Miss Agnes McQuaker, a daughter of John McQuaker and a former Miss Carrie.
