Description Meat basket. It is a large, ovoid, wood strip basket. The strips are approximately 6.5 cm wide, and meet at right angles. They are held by a bentwood rim (inside and outside), and are fastened together with nails.
Provenance Unknown maker. Last owned by Muriel and Wilson Johnson family of Sydenham Township, Grey County. Mrs. Johnson was formerly Muriel Snider, and the Sniders were also a Sydenham Township family.
