Description This is a woman's short, white, cotton apron with lace detail. The apron has two lace panel inserts running vertically down the front of the apron, about 6 inches apart, and each is 3/4 of an inch wide. There is detailed floral lace and eyelet work between these panels in the lower 1/3. Lace trim is present around outer edge of apron. The waist ties in the back, with a narrow waist band.
Provenance Maker unknown. Likely belonged to Eliza Jane Burke (neé Dunbar) of Tara, Bruce County and then Owen Sound, Grey County.
