|Description||Soft drink dispenser (a-c). It has a fibre component, as well as a glass reservoir. It has metal as well. The underside of the cylindrical base has a large maker's mark with "UNITED INDURATED FIBRE CO. / LOCKPORT, N.Y. U.S.A." This mark has patent dates on it from 1883-1885 and has "AND OTHERS". This dispenser is thought to be from the 1910s. The top edge of the cylindrical area is printed with a large maker's mark of "XXTH-CENTURY DISPENSER / TRADEMARK PATENTED / CORPLEY & HAYES NEW YORK", which also suggests that it is an early 20th-century item. The fibre base has a brownish colouration, with two decorative gold-coloured bands. It has two plated metal spigots [one is now detached].|
Manufactured by Corpley & Hayes, of New York. Believed to be from the 1910s.
