Description Greyish-blue graniteware (enamelled) tea pot with a hinged lid. The tea pot is enamelled on the body of the pot and the underside of the base. The spout and handle are enamelled as well, but the lid area is not, to provide a contrast. The lid hinge is wired (was this original to the pot?). The lid has a turned, dark wood lift knob. No maker's name seen.
Provenance Unknown. Owned/used by the Dr. Melville and Marjorie Knox (neƩ McFadden) family who resided in Owen Sound but also had a farm in Derby Township, Grey County.
