Description This is a wood and steel, hand-made-looking ice skate. It has a worn, buckled up leather toe strap. The heel end has a tapered hardware point on the top side.
Provenance It is not known who made and wore this skate originally.

Presumably collected by the previous owner, Wilbur Lusk prior to 1962, but no further information is known. Wilbur Lusk resided at Owen Sound, Ontario in the later years of his life. Wilbur George Lusk died in 1990, in his 81st year. His parents had been John and Margaret Lusk, and he had a brother and six sisters.
