Description Imperial quart sized glass SHELL Motor Oil bottle (design registered 1933). This tall, cylindrical bottle has "SHELL Motor Oil" embossed on the front, along with the seashell company logo. The bottle would have had a lid or spout, likely made of metal, in order to facilitate the pouring of oil.
Provenance The glass pattern of this bottle was registered in 1933. Proveannce unknown. Collected by Arnie Clark who grew up in Sydenham Township, Grey County, and later resided in Owen Sound, Grey County.
