Description A fringed Paisley shawl. The background is beige with a Paisley border all around. The Paisley border is a light red/green/blue/orange/pink/brown design. There is a beige margin before the end where the fringe starts. The fringe is all around the perimeter. The fringe is ecru-coloured wool, knotted at intervals along the edge.
Provenance Owned by Christina "Tina" Gibson (neƩ McIntyre). Her father had been a veterinarian at Priceville, Ontario. She was married c. 1910, so it wouldn't have been originally hers, but passed down to her.
