One longish, rectangular white cotton openwork knitted pouch, with a silk peach-coloured lining in the interior top 5cm. Pattern runs vertically.
Originally belonged to, and may have been made by, Mrs. Gideon Carrie. Mrs. Carrie had farmed in Sydenham Township, Grey County in the 19th-century.
Later owned by her granddaughter, Agnes Smith (neé McQuaker), who inherited a number of items that had formerly belonged to her grandmother.
