Description This is a pair of men's olive (khaki) green wool puttees (a&b). There is a tiny goldtone (likely brass) button that has "R FOX" on it. The puttees were manufactured. One end has a straight edge, while the other is pointed and has an khaki green woollen cord attached to the button.
Makers mark Goldtone button has R FOX on it
Provenance Belonged Private Robert O. Henry from Chatsworth, Grey County, who served during the First World War. Passed to his sister, May Henry.
