One side has "TOKEN", "UN SOU" (with a wreath around it) and "MONTREAL". The other side has a bouquet of grain motif and what looks like "SV...AGRICULTURE 7 COMMIER CANADA"|
This token pre-dates the 1850s change-over to decimal currency in the Canadas. The Bank of Montreal issued various bank tokens.
