Description Cast-iron "Little Star" apple peeler (patented June 9, 1885). It has a cast iron frame and a steel feed screw and cutter blade and black painted turned wooden handle knob. It is designed to clamp onto the edge of a furniture surface (e.g. a table edge). It was a hand-cranked device.
Provenance Formerly used at the George Drimmie property in the Dromore area of Grey County. Last owned by Dalphie Lawrence.
