Description Automotive starter. This item consists of a a cylindrical body with a metal rod coming out of the top. The main cylinder is plain, with several screws and four large rectangular holes around its base. These holes reveal some of the inner mechanics, including wires and other pieces screwed into place. The base of the starter has a small cylindrical protrusion in the center, which appears to be a continuation of the rod that exits at the top. Once it comes out at the top, this rod has several pieces along its length, including a small, ridged, gear-like piece and several loops of a thick wire.
