|Description||Glass vinegar bottle (a) with hand-painted white floral decoration and a matching colourless stopper (b). The lip of the bottle has a droopy, blown glass appearance, and the handle also looks like it was applied.|
Used at the farm home of James and Mary Ann "Minnie" Givens. They lived in the Massie district of Holland Township, Grey County. They were the donor's parents. They married in July of 1898.
Next owned by Miss Jean Givens before she became Mrs. William G. Reid. She grew up in Holland Township, but later resided in Owen Sound, Grey County.
James R. Givens was born in 1875 and died in 1958. Minnie Givens was born in 1871 and died in 1950. Jean was born in 1899 and died in 1991.
