|Description||A woman's white net V-neck, front-opening, overblouse with long sleeves and ruffled cuffs. Closes via one metal dome fastener at the breast and two small white buttons at the waist. Tiny pleats run veritcally down the entire surface of the front and back and horizontally down the entire surface of each arm. There are 27 decorative embroidered circles along the lapels and on the back collar, which comes to a point at the back. There are three of the same decorative embroidered circles on each wrist before the cuff. The lapels and collar are also ruffled at the edges.|
Likely belonged to one of the Spragge sisters (Marjorie or Doris) of Owen Sound, Grey County, when she was young.
Provenance unknown. Found amongst their estate items. Their family lived on 3rd Ave. East, Owen Sound, Grey County. Their father was an Owen Sound grocer.
