Provenance Manufactured by Ti Pi in the United States. Hand-carved by Dick Knight. Item belonged to the Knight Press in Meaford, Grey County. Last owned by Dick Knight, whose father founded The Knight Press in 1929. Dick Knight worked with his father for many years, learning the letterpress printing trade. He took over his father's establishment, which operated until 1990.




This linoleum "cut" was hand-made by Dick Knight, the previous owner. His father had started THE KNIGHT PRESS of Meaford, Ontario in 1929, and Dick worked with his father for many years, learning the letterpress printing trade. Mr. Knight continued the printing business until 1990.
