Description A stencilled wooden apple crate with "PROPERTY OF / HUDSON BROS. / MEAFORD" . The bottom two stencilled lines are on a splash of white paint, which suggests that it was previously used by another orchard. There are two elliptical cut-outs for hand holds to lift the crate with. Nailed construction.
Provenance Made for/used by the Hudson Brothers Orchard, which began circa 19__. The item looks like it previously owned by another Meaford area orchard as well.
