Long white petticoat with horizontal tucks/pleats. The waistband is thin and has a single button closure on the back. The skirt is bisected mid-way down the skirt, where there are two horizontal tucks (appear to have be added later by hand) above the band that attached the lower skirt. There are several more, thinner tucks above the wide hem.
Provenance unknown. Likely belonged to one of the Spragge sisters (Marjorie or Doris) of Owen Sound, Grey County, when she was young.
Found amongst their estate items. Their family lived on 3rd Ave. East, Owen Sound, Grey County. Their father was an Owen Sound grocer.
