Description Woman's heavily-beaded, droopy-style evening bag (purse), from the 1910s/1920s? Beads are primarily blue and black with clear and red accenting beads. There is one circle on each of the four corners and an X in the middle.
Provenance Obtained in France during World War I by Stella Priest (neƩ Bowlby). The purse is likely circa 1918? She served as a
Canadian Nursing Sister (First World War), in the C.A.M.C. (Canadian Army Medical Corps).
