Description A trowel used for masonry work. There is a shaped wooden handle grip. The working end has a rounded tip.
Provenance Belonged to John McGregor, who was killed in May, 1874. He came to Canada from Aberdeenshire, Scotland in 1830. He initially settled in a Scottish settlement around Fergus or Elora, Upper Canada (Ontario). John McGregor was a stone mason.

Margaret McGregor resided in Sullivan Township, Grey County for some time (west of Chatsworth).
