This is a piece of a sailor costume worn by the previous owner's mother (Rhoda Ross) or aunt (Gertrude Ross) in a parade down Owen Sound's Main Street c.1910.
Last owned by Rosemary Kennedy, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Pollock Jr. of Owen Sound, Grey County. Rosemary grew up in Owen Sound and became an educator.
