Description Woman's large black fur muff. This muff has a soft form, possibly down-filled. It is covered with dark brown silk crepe, shirred across the centre and has a flounce trim. There is a brown corded handle attached to the left opening. The black fox fur has four feet with plastic claws. The eyes are also plastic-looking. Perhaps made of celluloid.
Provenance Unknown. Last owned by sisters, Doris and Marjorie Spragge. Found amongst their estate items. Their family lived on 3rd Ave. East, Owen Sound, Ontario. Their father was an Owen Sound grocer.
