White cotton handkerchief with white embroidered floral edging at the corners that extends up the sides but does not meet. The edge is hem-stitched by hand, so that there is a double thickness at the edge.
The handkerchief belonged to a member of the Inglis or Kennedy family of Derby Township, Grey County and Owen Sound.
It may have belonged to Helen Kennedy (neé Inglis) first, and subsequently belonged to her daughter, Amy Kennedy.
