Description Wall-mounted tongs-type towel holder (circa 1902). There is a large eye screw attached. The round, fluted jaws are designed to adjust and then be held to a certain size, using a sliding piece that catches on ridges on the exterior sides of the towel holder. No maker's identification is present.
Provenance Unknown. Last owned by Roland Ellinghausen (b. 1910 - d. 1981), an Owen Sound druggist.
