The box of the carriage has an open-weave styling, with wicker attached to six framing posts. The posts at the rear are slightly-angled back, with cannonball finials. The front of the doll carriage has a down-turned shape. The box has a wooden bottom. There is some old upholstery within it, but it does not completely cover the bottom anymore.
