Description This is a small British coin, called a farthing, that dates to 1912. One side depicts Britannia, sitting down, and has "FARTHING" at the top, and "1912" at the bottom. The other side has a leftwards-facing bust of the King.
Provenance The original ownership of this item is unknown. The previous owner, Mrs. Martha J. Urquhart (née Paterson), had resided at Owen Sound, Grey County, but had passed away in 1939, before this item was donated from her Estate in 1957.
