|Description||Woman's short-sleeved blouse made of white cotton voile, with a square neckline, hemstitching detail and a border pattern of flowers, leaves, etc. made of cording. There is a center front inset panel with a hemstitched band at the top. Down each side of the front and around the neck is a 3 cm-wide hemstitched band. The sleeves have a hemstitched cuff. The front fastens at the left side of the panel, with six snaps. The bottom edge is left unfinished (would be tucked in out of sight). There is no maker's identification.|
Maker unknown. Part of Christina (Tina) Gibson (neé McIntyre)'s trousseau. She married in 1910.
Subsequently owned by her daughter, Bertha Masurier of Toronto.
Tina Gibson was a cousin of Bert Menzie's mother (Jean Menzie's mother-in-law), Mrs. George Menzies.
