Description Large metal colander with rimmed handles on either side. Bowl portion scales down to a rimmed base with 5 holes, approx. 1-1/4 inches deep. There are two seams that run down the bowl from the top to the bottom where the handles are located. This tinware colander has a round pedestal-style base.
Provenance Previously owned by Mrs. William G. Reid of Owen Sound, Grey County. She was formerly Miss Jean Givens of the Massie district of Holland Township, Grey County. Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Givens, farmed there. They were married in 1898.
