Description Khaki-coloured, long sleeved, button-down woman's army shirt, C.W.A.C., W.W.#2. "34, ARROW Trademark, Cluette, Peabody & Co. Limited, Canada" stencilled inside the back of the collar. There are two large breast pockets with box pleats and buttoned flaps. The shoulders have self material bands that each fasten with one button.

Provenance Issued to and worn by A. May Henry, a woman who was from the Chatsworth area of Grey County. During the Second World War, she joined the Canadian Army Women's Corps [C.W.A.C.], which was created in 1941. She enlisted at Toronto in 1944. She served at Halifax, with her last rank that of Captain. She was discharged at Oakville, Ontario, in July, 1946. C.W.A.C. was disbanded the same year.
