Description Metal lemon squeezer (made of iron), late 19th-c (introduced in the 1860s). This squeezer is all-metal. It has bowed handles, which have intentional holes in the ends. It operates with a fulcrum. One side has a round area with a domed shape to fit the lemon half onto, plus a tiny pouring lip. The other side is just a cupped shape and is used to exert pressure onto the lemon half. There is no maker's identification.
