|Description||A woman's long linen petticoat. There is a thin waistband with an opening in the back that is closed with a single button. There is some gathering at the back. There is a flounce on the bottom quarter of this garment. There are some small horizontal tucks on the ruffle. Below that there are also two thin lace insets.|
Maker unknown. Belonged to Eliza Jane Burke (neé Dunbar) of Tara, Bruce County and then Owen Sound, Grey County.
Last owned by her daughter, Hazel Christie (neé Burke) of Owen Sound who told museum staff that it dates to pre-1896.
