Description A First Nations-made stone tool from the Fred Birch Collection, that is 17.7 cm long, 5.9 cm wide and 1.7 cm deep. See RELATED for other items from the Birch Collection.
Provenance Collected by Frederick Birch (b. 1840-d. 1923), who was an amateur archaeologist living in Wodehouse, Euphrasia Township, Grey County, at the time. He collected First Nations artifacts in Euphrasia and nearby townships. It is not known what year he collected this tool. It was last owned by Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bowes.
