Last owned by Ruth McKnight (neé Cruickshank) who grew up on a farm in Keppel Township. Her parents, Robert and Alice Cruickshank, farmed at RR#1, Shallow Lake, Keppel Township, Grey County, and Robert's parents, James Cruickshank and Margaret Cruickshank (neé Hewitson) also farmed there.
