White pique cotton maid's apron, pin-on style, with bib, pocket, and white braid decoration (soutache work). Ties fasten in back with a button. The bib area would have been stiffly starched, but if needed, it could be pinned to the maid's bodice area to keep it up.
|Provenance||The maid's apron was worn in Owen Sound, Ontario. It was likely worn at one of the Kennedy family homes by a domestic servant.|
