Description White pique cotton maid's apron, pin-on style, with bib, pocket, and white braid decoration (soutache work). Ties fasten in back with a button. The bib area would have been stiffly starched, but if needed, it could be pinned to the maid's bodice area to keep it up.
Provenance The maid's apron was worn in Owen Sound, Ontario. It was likely worn at one of the Kennedy family homes by a domestic servant.
