W. E. Dickin is shown in a group photograph recording the Owen Sound City Council of 1920. See photograph 1960.057.001. On June 10, 1908, Wallace Edward Dickin married Mina Hart (Jemina? Jemima Hart) in Grey County. He was recorded on the marriage record as a Butcher, and his parents were Walter Broughall Dickin and Mary Elizabeth Parsons. Unfortunately, Mina (b. 1879 in Huron County) died during pregnancy, of toxaemia, at the age of 30, on March 23, 1909. Dr. J. A. Hershey attended her case. She was buried at Greenwood Cemetery. |
