By 1886, it was owned by both Taylor and Pringle. It was incorporated in 1901, with a capital of $150,000. Circa 1911, the firm had branches in Haileybury, Elk Lake, New Liskeard, Sault Ste. Marie, Sudbury and Porcupine. The company manufactured gingerale, catsup, vinegar and pickles, among other items. They began to bottle for Coca-Cola in 1905. This item was found circa 1965 in the barn area of the former Presbyterian Church manse building along Highway 10, in Dornoch, Grey County. It was last owned by Gerald and Marilyn Southwood of Owen Sound. |
