Description |
Bootjack made from blonde wood. It is slightly crude, with no varnish and minimal sanding. It was either made from two pieces of wood fit together or a single piece that was split down the middle. The two wooden sections are held together by two rusted iron nuts and bolts, one of which has two wooden washers. At one end of the bootjack, there is a hole in the centre through which it could be fastened to the floor, and the other end is forked, where one's boot would be wedged off. The underside of the bootjack is flatter so that it rests nicely on the floor. The bootjack is also splashed with mint green paint in several places. |
