Wall-mounted, tin matchbox holder. The matchbox holder is made out of sheet tin (and the front has 3 vertical embossed ridges). Would the three ridges be the "striker" (a surface for striking the match head). No maker's identification. The front lower area has a cut-out area that gives one's fingers access to the matches. Now black-painted, but has an orangy-beige finish still visible on the back side. |
