Provenance |
Used annually at the Santa Claus Christmas Concert at the Sixth Line School (S.S.#6, Collingwood Township, in the Ravenna area). The school closed in June, 1967. It was worn each year by an man from the community. The concerts were always held in the evening. The item likely post-dates 1928, the year that the third Ravenna school building was opened. The item was last owned by M. Elizabeth McKinlay. She recalls seeing it in use in 1960, but it likely was made some years before then. |
