Provenance |
Used on the first tug boat of the John Harrison & Sons Lumber Company at Owen Sound. This first tug boat was of wooden construction, and made at the Abbey Boatworks / shipyard at Owen Sound. This was the bell that was used for calling the watches on the Tug HARRISON, whose captain was Captain Frank Waugh. At some point, Captain Waugh gave the bell to his step-daughter and her husband, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Ward of Owen Sound. |
