Description |
Wm. Taylor & Son Ltd. Soda Bottle - era 1915. Kuntz Beverages on bottle surface. It is a colourless glass bottle. There is no longer a closure at the top. |
Makers mark |
The underside of the bottle has a star-shaped mark. |
Provenance |
Made for the Wm. Taylor & Son business of Owen Sound. Sound and Grey County did not have a bottle glass factory, so bottles were manufactured elsewhere and shipped in for use by doctors, druggists, etc. John R. Graves found this at a Grey County dumpsite. He suggested that the bottle might be from c. 1915. It might be younger than that. |
