Description |
Young girl's pleated red and black plaid-skirted dress. It originally had a matching jacket (now gone). The upper part of this garment was added to as the wearer grew. Ridged cotton pique fabric also was used to extend the shoulder straps. The skirt hem was intentionally deep, in case it had to be let down. |
