This is an all-metal shoe horn that is an advertising give-away item from the Rupert Legate, Shoe specialist store in Owen Sound, Ont. The handle end has a hole so that it can be hung up if needed. The concave part of the shoehorn is emboss-style-stamped with: "RUPERT LEGATE / SHOE SPECIALIST, / OWEN SOUND, ONTARIO". The metal has a black-coloured finish on it (likely japanning). |
