Description |
Large, footed brown sugar bowl (a) and lid (b). Proper name may be a compote. Bottom of bowl above foot and the lid have a horizontal concave oval pattern running around their circumferences. There is a small, circular flaw inside the glass (between interior and exterior walls) on one side of the base (a). This is a pressed glass pedestal-footed sugar bowl. The lid has a rounded, geometrical pattern lift finial. This pattern is also repeated in the stem area of the foot. |
