A baby's green-finished metal rattle. It has a lollipop shape, with two pink and black chick designs on one side. No maker's identification. |

Unknown factory of origin. Used by the Robinson or Ritchie family of Glenelg Township, Grey County. R. C. Robinson (Clarence Robinson) and Marjorie Robinson and W. J. Ritchie farmed at RR#1 Durham (Robindale Farm, Glenelg Township) in the 1940s (the farm was acquired in 1923 by Clarence's parents, David & Bessie Robinson). Marjorie's maiden name was Marjorie C. Ritchie. Their sons were Alex, David and Norman. In 1964, Norman Robinson and his wife Ruth Anne took over the farm and operated it until ___. The Item was last owned by Ruth Anne Robinson (née Hollands) at Kincardine, Ontario. |
