Description |
Squat, round clear glass Taylor and Pringle sauce bottle with a neck almost as long as bottle body. |
Makers mark |
T&P [The bottle was not made by Taylor & Pringle, but the glass factory put their initials in their glass pattern reference mark] |
Provenance |
Made for Taylor & Pringle of Owen Sound, Grey County. Owen Sound did not have a bottle glass factory, so Taylor & Pringle would have had their bottles custom-ordered from a glass factory located elsewhere. Note that John Corbett Pringle died in 1911, so it likely was before this date. Provenance unknown. Likely found at a Grey County dump site location by William Galbraith of Owen Sound, Grey County. |
